When professional newborn photographer Kayla Powers' son started begging her for another baby, she came up with the greatest response of all time.
Kayla, too, had "baby fever," as she describes it. However, it didn't seem like another human child was written in the books for her any time soon. Nevertheless, her son kept begging for another baby and even asking his mother if she was pregnant.
Then, Kayla got her genius idea.
She went out and picked up a tiny newborn golden retriever puppy and named her Lucy.
When she came home with the pooch in a picnic basket, she called her son in to open it up and see what was inside. He was awestruck, according to Kayla, and just wanted to snuggle her all day long.
Being a newborn photographer with Little Lashes Photography, Kayla decided to give Lucy the full treatment, and the photos are absolutely adorable.
What a cure for baby fever, right?
