Reality television has really taken over broadcasting all over the world.
Celebrities are born just for allowing cameras to follow them around 24/7 and document their lives. It's a very strange phenomenon that we've all grown accustomed to over the years. It works so well because you simply can't look away. You have to keep watching the drama unfold, even if it's just a bit of drama over who took the last yogurt in the fridge.
Inga Lind Karlsdóttir partnered up with The Icelandic Cat Protection Society in Iceland, to come up with a rather genius way to raise awareness for cat adoption based on the reality show idea that has won so many folks over. It's called Keeping Up with the Kattarshians.
Four kittens named Guðni, Ronja, Briet, and Stubbur have captured the hearts of folks all across the world, just by being kittens.
With the help of live feeds from cameras set up by Inga and her network, Nutiminn, anyone with access to the internet can watch as these kitties go about their day within their kitten-sized house.
Igna hopes that watching them play, nap, snack, and groom each other will be a nice break from all the worries of the world today, while also advocating for the adoption of animals that need a home.
These four kittens will soon be adopted, and another litter will be brought in for another season of Keeping Up with the Kattarshians. Hopefully, folks will keep on watching and wondering what they can do to help all the kittens that might need a home in their own neighborhoods.
