It's a known fact that monkeys love to jump around and swing through their environments. However, this macaque took monkey business to a whole other level.
One day, a group of monkeys was enjoying the outdoors. Suddenly, one of them become a daredevil, though against his own will. As his friends were casually swinging around and hanging off items in their habitat, he had his eye on the long pool of water far below him.
He clung to the edge of a tall, wobbly post that towered high in the sky. He looked down at his fellow macaque monkey friends, then realized a long diving line was forming behind him.
The monkey seemed overcome with nerves as the impatient crew behind him became more and more restless.
The little guy was trying to prepare himself, still staring at the wavy, blue pool. Then all of a sudden, someone made his choice for him.
One of the monkeys who felt he had been waiting too long put out his arm and shoved the baby monkey off of the post.
He darted down into the water with a massive splash on impact. Thankfully, the adorable critter was completely unharmed and helped out of the water by his mother. He had finally faced his fear, even though he didn't have much of a choice.
I wonder if he got back in line for a second dive?
