Dad Runs Back Into Blazing House Fire To Save Beloved Poodles!

José Guerra is being hailed a hero after he ran back inside his burning house, risking his life to save his two poodles. The dramatic rescue was all caught on camera, as he battled the blaze to rescue his beloved dogs.

He had already saved his daughter and his mother from fire when he realized the family's toy poodles, Moko and Cherry, were still inside. The footage starts with a view of the blazing house in San Jose, California. Guerra can be seen opening the garage door and darting inside to save his beloved dogs. After about 20 seconds, he reemerges with the dogs under his arms — mere seconds before the car inside the garage explodes.

"I didn't want my dogs to die that way," he told Inside Edition. "I wasn't really scared. I didn't think about the fire, I was more worried about them… I called for the dogs and they were in the back corner of the garage huddled in a corner. I grabbed them, picked them up and ran out."
