People who harm animals make me so angry, I could scream.
It doesn't matter if they run puppy mills, like the cruel people who nearly killed this small dog, or if they cause intentional physical pain to an innocent creature, like an evil person did to this small pup. There is never an excuse for animal cruelty.
Unfortunately, we see both the good and the bad animal stories here at LittleThings. Just when you think you've heard the worst account of animal abuse, comes another terrifying, true account. Luckily, this next one has a happy ending, where we see a dog triumph over tragedy.
In the following video, which was posted to YouTube by Tiffany Ondracek in 2013, we learn of a man who was driving along when he saw something moving inside a garbage bag that was tied to a fence. When he pulled over and looked inside, he found the unthinkable: a dog who had been shot in the face and left for dead. Authorities called an independent animal rescuer, who came to help the small dog they named "Buck" after being shot with a buckshot shotgun.
An angel must have been watching over Buck that day, because even though he was dying, he refused to give up. It's a true miracle he survived.
