Getting lost can be the biggest pain.
It is ten times worse if you have no cell phone or no service and can't just use an app to find some easy directions. How did people do it back in the day? I've forgotten a time before phones!
One man happened to get a little lost in the mountains — not somewhere you'd get great reception, clearly!
But he didn't have to worry much at all. A guide was looking out for him and appeared on the trails to help lead him back down the mountain. That guide just so happened to be a cat!
The friendly animal spotted someone in need and offered their assistance. They must see lost people all the time and have figured out a way to get to safety!

Reddit user SC4S2CG was hiking in the mountains in Gimmelwald, Switzerland, when he got a bit lost.
It was the end of ski season and the lifts weren't working and a few trails were closed.
While looking through his map to figure out where he was, the cat approached him.
Taking pity on this lost soul, the hero cat came to the rescue! She recognized a friend in need and decided to help.
Despite the fact that he was a total stranger, this cat was extremely friendly. He thinks she must be used to so many tourists!
There were no other cats on the trails around the mountain, so he believes she must live in town and go for adventures.
He started recording as the cat helped him down the mountain and you can see all of the cuteness in the video below!
