Belinda Joy Schenk from Belinda Sol Photography is used to capturing the precious faces of newborns as part of her career, but she was surprised when she got hired for a session with the adorable family below.
Instead of a human mama showing off her bundles of joy, Belinda was greeted by dachshund Mia and her six tiny babies.
Mia's owner Monica Sanchez decided to pamper her sweet pooch throughout her pregnancy just as she would a human daughter. It might seem unusual to most of us, but you can't deny the result is pretty much the cutest thing you've seen all week — heck, maybe all month!
I especially love that each of the pups were outfitted with their own itty-bitty knitted bonnet to keep their heads nice and cozy throughout the newborn photo shoot.

Belinda enlisted help from a friend to provide the precious knitted hats.
All six of the puppies seemed more than content to simply snooze throughout the whole photo shoot.
Before the cuties made their way into the world, Belinda also provided a sweet maternity session for Mia and the pups' father.
The photographer admitted to some initial shock when Mia's owner first called her about booking the unusual job, but as you can see from the beautiful results, quickly got into the swing of things.
