Abused Dog Hits A Major Milestone In Her New Home And It’s BEAUTIFUL

If you think animals don't feel emotions like humans do, think again! This next video is the very best proof that animals have souls…and they're way more forgiving than most humans are.

We've shared a lot of canine success stories here at LittleThings, like this one about a rescued dog who was left to die, but I've never seen anything as simple, yet moving, as what happens in this next video. When dogs are rescued from puppy mills, backyard breeders, or any abusive situation, they are more often than not terrified of humans and act aggressive like some of the rescues in this video.

That's why when rescuer Anne Wuhrer took in Noisette, a small Boston terrier who was rescued from a criminal breeding facility, she knew it would take a long time for the dog to warm up to her family and be able to trust humans again. Noisette, who was one of 132 dogs and four exotic birds saved from the abusive and heartbreaking situation, was dehydrated with bad eyes and teeth when she was rescued.

The dog suffered from malnutrition, anemia, and was covered in dirt, fleas, and feces. Understandably, she was terrified and unsocialized, being kept in a cage for an unknown amount of time. However, Wuhrer said she had been gradually adjusting to life outside of her filthy cage before the unthinkable happened just a few short weeks after her rescue.

In the video, Noisette can be seen mustering up the courage to approach Wuhrer's husband, Chris, who laid out on the floor for 20 minutes, before she was finally ready to "snuggle" with a human for the very first time in her life.

I'm so happy that this tiny dog no longer has to be afraid and finally knows what being loved feels like!
