Nina Pham, the Dallas nurse who was diagnosed with Ebola after treating Thomas Eric Duncan, was recently reunited with her dog Bentley – a meeting that neither she nor doctors were sure would happen.
After Nina was diagnosed, Bentley was taken and quarantined. Even after Nina recovered and was released, Bentley still had to undergo test after test to make sure he was okay. Earlier, a nurse from Spain who contracted Ebola had her dog taken and eventually euthanized, but doctors never said if that dog tested positive for the disease or not.
"It feels like Christmas literally," Pham told news outlets. "I just can't imagine just having my best friend back. It's an amazing feeling."
Nina says that getting Bentley back is just one more step towards "feeling whole" after her ordeal.

Bentley was sent into a 21-day quarantine with strange people in hazmat suits.

Before he could be reunited with Nina, he needed to undergo one last grooming session.

And then finally, the beautiful reunion!
