Out in South Carolina, two barnyard animals have forged a unique friendship.
In 2013, poor, elderly Billy the goat was attacked by a dog and needed to go through a rehabilitation process to improve his health.
In a fortunate twist of events, Billy was able to make a few friends at his new place. One friend in particular has remained by Billy's side — or should I say, on his back?
"He sleeps on him, he rides on him, he goes everywhere he goes," Jillian Butela, the farm owner, explained. They'll even cross the road together!
Samoa was just a little rooster when Billy came into the barn under the tutelage of a great doctor and chiropractor. The farmer noted that, when Billy first arrived, Samoa wouldn't let anyone go near his goat friend! Now that's love.
Years have passed and Samoa will still ride on his back, cuddle up next to him while he sleeps, and Billy doesn't seem to mind at all!
As you'll see in the video below, Billy the goat and Samoa the rooster are inseparable — the best barnyard buddies you've ever seen!
