If you're anything like me, you have more than a few things in your closet that you rarely wear anymore, but can't get yourself to get rid of just yet.
Luckily, there are some pretty great things you can do with your old "keepsakes," if you don't want to toss them or stick them in the poor box. I've made some pretty cool headbands out of some funky fabric that I didn't want to give up and I'm dying to try this tutorial, where they transform an old sports jersey into wall art, but it turns out there are a lot of pretty great things you can do with old clothes…and it's not just you who can continue to enjoy them!
In this next video, which comes to us from health and wellness site, Tuja Wellness, we learn how to up-cycle a cozy old sweater into a comfy place for your dog to rest. For the project, you'll need some yarn (or thread, if you prefer it), a needle (they use a large eye wool needle with their yarn) and scissors to cut the thread (and any buttons that may tempt your dog). The best part of this simple, yet stylish project is that you really don't need to know anything about sewing to create the dog bed. Since sweaters are so thick, all imperfections will be hidden.
If you enjoyed this easy how-to and want to step up your creativity a notch, check out how to make this dog bed, that will keep your pooch cool in the summer heat!
