A raging elephant attacked a car of tourists driving through a South African Safari park, piercing a British schoolteacher in her leg with its tusks in the process. The entire crazy event was captured by tourists who were driving behind the victims.
The elephant was ultimately put down by the park for behaving aggressively. The park’s manager, William Mabasa, claims that the aggressive behavior from the elephant might have to do with a condition known as “on musth” where the animal’s testosterone levels are higher than normal.
We’re wondering if the elephant was otherwise provoked.
