Crowd Stares Up At Ceiling In Lowe’s, Then Curious Woman Notices The Family Of Owls Above

A Lowe's Home Improvement store in Colorado Springs, Colorado, is attracting a lot of attention for one of its latest additions — something customers and employees never saw coming!

“We were just plant-shopping and then everybody was walking over here, and we were like, ‘What’s going on?'" said Brittany Powell, a customer that found herself drawn to the crowd looking upward in the store.

Carol McCallister, another customer, added that the new addition has basically become Lowe's main attraction.

“I’ve been lucky enough to see them in the wild. This isn’t necessarily the wild, but close enough,” she said.

There, roosting close to the ceiling of the store is a family of owls!

There are five total: a mom, dad, and three baby owlets. And according to employees, the owls have remained undisturbed at the Lowe's for months!

"There’s owls up there! Oh my God!'” Brittany exclaimed. “This just blew my mind. I was not expecting this at all. This is so cool!”

Lowe's officials have been working with local wildlife officials to make sure that the owls continue to be safe, especially with the owlets learning to fly.

Until then, employees and customers alike have been enjoying the stunning sight.
