A teeny, tiny pit bull puppy was recently found by police in a surprising place: the pocket of a suspected drug dealer.
The three week-old pup, who had been separated from her mother far too soon, was treated at BluePearl Veterinary Partners specialty and emergency hospital for pets in Waltham, Mass. for vomiting and diarrhea, according to WTXF-TV, but is now on the road to recovery after a day of intensive care.
She has been aptly named "Pocket." Read on to find out what happened to this remarkable puppy…

Pocket is currently staying with local group PittieLove Rescue.

The pint-sized pup is expected to make a full recovery despite her previously life-threatening conditions.

Pocket is expected to be discharged Friday. Once she is medically sound and old enough to be micro-chipped and spayed, she will be adopted to a responsible pet parent and find her forever home.
It is against the law in Massachusetts to sell a dog or cat under weight weeks of age.
