To some, this pit bull may be scary and intimidating. To others, he’s the sweetest and most loving dog imaginable.
The incredible Eldad Hagar of Hope for Paws makes another amazing rescue here when he and his friend Jackie meet Buddha, an injured pit bull living all alone on the streets of a tough neighborhood in Los Angeles. When the rescuers found him, Buddha was too afraid to go near them.
Buddha was living in an abandoned lot with no one to turn to, and things were so horrible for him that neighborhood kids threw rocks at him — which caused a serious injury to his shoulder. Without medical care, the wound got infected and formed a large abscess. He was in pain, and he needed a hero. Just in time, that’s exactly what he got.
Even though Buddha had been living such a nightmarish life, once he accepted Eldad’s help and gobbled down a cheeseburger, his true spirit shown through — all he ever wanted was to be loved!
This emotional rescue is as heartwarming as this good Samaritan who saved a dying puppy from the side of a road and a woman who adopted this abandoned Chihuahua.
