A Pack Of Stray Puppies Was Left To Die On A Glass Bridge. Then? A Miracle.

They say that curiosity killed the cat, but sometimes, it gets adorable puppies into trouble too. Tourists recently made a mistake that could've cost a group of stray puppies their lives. Please SHARE this important post with all of your friends so it doesn't happen again.

That's what happened recently in China when seven stray puppies followed a group of tourists onto a 590 ft. tall bridge. The bridge, a major tourist attraction at the Shiniuzhai Scenic Spot, is partially comprised of glass paneling that provides awe-inspiring views of the valley beneath.

Animals usually avoid using the bridge, but most likely, these puppies followed a group of tourists who had been feeding them. They were hoping for more food, but once they reached the glass portion of the bridge, they became too frightened to cross the glass.

Many tourists took photos with the puppies as they passed by, but security guards eventually realized that they'd need to intervene to rescue the dogs.

Remember, dogs are curious but they often "FREEZE" in situations that scare them. Never lead a dog up to a high level or platform if you can't easily help him down.

The strays couldn't pass this portion of the bridge for hours. It eventually took security guards to come to their aid.

The tiny animals were understandably terrified of the nearly 600 foot drop. This bridge is one of the largest in the world.

The puppies, lured by the hope of food, were just too terrified to move past the glass portion of the bridge.

The bridge is situated in an area with very high winds. While people can brace themselves by grabbing railings, the puppies had no support. Their little paws were slipping and guards were scared they would be blown off to their untimely deaths.

A professional tightrope walker was once thrown off the bridge by high winds. He plummeted 100 feet below. Fortunately, his fall was broken by the tops of trees. These poor puppies may not have had such luck.
