All we need is a little bit of encouragement to get through bumps in the road — whether it's a large challenge we need to overcome or just a tiny step that we could use a helping hand with. Sometimes, we all could use some support when the going gets tough.
Take this cop who encouraged a 3-year-old girl to pursue her dreams and become an officer. It's so important to have support behind us in times of need.
Or how about this baby Pembroke Welsh corgi, Charlotte, who struggled with a task none of us even think twice about: climbing a step.
But this was puppy Charlotte's very first step ever, so it was a completely new task to her, and her owner decided to film the moment.
Charlotte's innocent face stares right at the camera as her paws hang over the front step, half her body still on the ground floor. Her owner's voice of encouragement makes Charlotte's little ears perk up, motivating her to climb that step!
Then she gives it her first big attempt, but Charlotte slips and falls back down. However, that doesn't stop this little corgi from trying again.
And her owner is relentless with motivating her pup to keep trying — a true support, indeed. Eventually, Charlotte lets out a high-pitched yelp, makes the leap of faith, and successfully lands on her feet above the step!
However, Charlotte has one more obstacle to face shortly after: the last step that gets her into the house. But just like before, her owner's words get through to her, and she gives it her absolute best shot.
