Americans love a good underdog story. We love the idea that no matter what life throws your way; with a bit of grit, courage, and some luck, you'll be able to beat the odds and end up on top!
We can never hear these types of stories enough times, like the one about a man who had been bullied all of his life due to his weight, and how he surprised the world because he had the voice of an angel. Or the story about a girl who stood up for what was right and took on all of the "popular" kids in her school by telling them to do the right thing! Stories like these inspire us to try harder and to be better people.
But what about our furry friends, don't they deserve an underdog story as well? The beginning of the story below is heartbreaking, but fortunately, things definitely take a turn for the better. Hopefully with some courage, grit, and luck, the amazing dog below will make it to the top! With a little help from her human friends, she just might be able to walk again!
