There's nothing like seeing the resilience an animal can show when rescued from an awful situation.
We see it all the time. An innocent animal is neglected or abused and must learn to trust again once they are rescued from their circumstances.
Just look at this sweet, white dog who was too weak to even walk when she was rescued. Her recovery is amazing — you have to see what she looks like now!
And luckily, the same thing can be said for Aasha, a beautiful Bengal tiger who was severely neglected for the first seven months of her life.
She was underweight and covered in skin rashes when In-Sync Exotics Wildlife Rescue took her in and began to nurse her back to health.
It was apparent that the tiger was in desperate need of some TLC.
Aasha's physical recovery is unbelievable — and she even found herself an equally beautiful male tiger to hang around with.
Some people might even call them soul mates!
In-Sync Exoctics Wildlife Rescue and Educational Center rescued Bengal tiger Aasha when she was 7 months old. Her weight upon arrival was just 37 lbs., the average weight of a 4-month-old cub, and she was covered in irritated bald patches.
After eight weeks of medicated baths, Aasha’s skin rashes began to heal and her beautiful coat grew back in. She also grew and put on some of the weight that she’d been missing when she got arrived at In-Sync.
Aasha came to love her medicated baths and even started swimming around in her spare time. She flourished under the care of her rescuers and was unrecognizable as the scared, neglected little tiger that had first come to In-sync. She even met someone very special.
Aasha was slowly introduced to another rescued tiger, named Smuggler, and eventually, they were allowed to hang out with one another. Now, the two are inseparable and even live in the same enclosure!
Aasha is living a wonderful life at In-Sync and loving every minute she gets to spend with Smuggler — if you couldn’t tell from the adorable picture above!
She sure is one beautiful animal!
