For three days and three nights, this poor dog was stuck on a rooftop until someone called the fire department.

The dog had escaped her house by climbing through a hole in the attic, and when she was found, she was 30 pounds underweight.

After removing her from the roof...

...the firefighters treated her to French fries!

The dog was renamed Attie with the help of an online poll, as she had escaped through the attic, and one of her heroes even adopted her!

“With this situation, it just kind of seems right, and she has herself a good home and she is a good fit for me,” Kevin Trimble, her new pet parent, told WKBN.

“She is an amazing dog. She is really good around other people and other dogs. She is just a real lovable type of dog.”

Kevin reports that since her rescue and adoption, Attie has put on weight and is doing great. Other options for her name included Cinder, Patience, Angel, and Lucky!
