Runaway Dog Rings Owner’s Doorbell 10 Hours After She Goes Missing

Mary Lynn and Ryan live in Simpsonville, South Carolina, with their puppy, Rajah. One early evening, their neighbors started shooting off fireworks.

Now they not only have a viral video on their hands but also another reminder as to how stressful fireworks can be for our furry friends.

Since Rajah is usually afraid of fireworks (like so many other pets), Mary Lynn went outside to check on her in the backyard where she'd been playing — only to realize there was no Rajah in sight.

The frightened pup had already gotten so spooked by the loud booms that she leapt over the fence and ran away.

Mary Lynn and Ryan drove around searching all night and frantically posted about their missing dog on social media to see if anyone had spotted her.

Ten hours passed, and still no sign of Rajah.

But at around 2:30 a.m., Ryan heard something scratching at the front door.

Then he and Mary Lynn heard their Ring doorbell buzzing …
