Senior Dog Whose Owner Passed Away Gets A Doggy Makeover

Everyone loves puppies, but senior dogs deserve lots of love, too. Puppies are very cute, don't get me wrong, but they're full of energy and enjoy chewing on everything in the house. A senior dog is much more relaxed as they've seen it all and they'd much rather take a nap.

Sadly, because people prefer babies to full-grown animals, senior animals are often overlooked in shelters. The babies get adopted first and only those who are truly looking for any animal to love turn to senior dogs.

Scooby is a beautiful cocker spaniel mix senior pup. When his owner passed away, Scooby was turned over to an animal shelter. Because of his age, he was not getting any offers for adoption. The folks at Hollywood Rescue Grooming did not want Scooby to spend the rest of his days sad and alone in a shelter, so they decided to give him a makeover!

Scooby is absolutely thrilled to get the attention this groomer gives him. It's so heartwarming to see the little smile on his face while he gets a bath! Much like Scooby got a second chance, Mark The Dog Guy gives homeless animals makeovers so they can find forever homes.

Watch the video below to see Scooby's transformation from scraggly to handsome. Since they filmed this, he has been placed in a dog program to help prison inmates.
