Driver Hears Cries From Package Inside Truck, Then Finds Kitten Shrink-Wrapped To A Box

In the first week of December, a UPS driver heard cries coming from his pile of packages, and followed them until he saw the creature buried deep: a tiny kitten.

To his horror, the kitten was shrink-wrapped to one of the boxes, totally flat. The poor animal hadn't eaten in at least five days and was certainly on the verge of death, having traveled from Chicago to Memphis in such a state.

The kitten was rushed to a vet, and it wasn't long before the story of his incredible journey made headlines.

One man, Kirk Williams, saw the story on the news and decided that he had to adopt him. He was the first to call about adopting the blue-chip Siamese. In his heart, he knew he was meant to adopt the little guy. He owned another blue-chip Siamese when he was younger. Luckily, he got to bring the cat home.

Now, Kirk lives in Memphis with the newly named Mr. Shrink, who has recovered marvelously from the ordeal. He's healthy and active, like any cat. He may be a little shy and a little scared of strangers, but he's perfectly at home in the arms of his new, loving owner!

Please SHARE if you're thankful this kitten is now able to live a long and happy life in his forever home!
