Moms everywhere are some of the strongest beings in the world. To be willing and able to bring more life into the world is a task that not everyone can do, and those who do should get the love and appreciation they so clearly deserve.
The rest of motherhood can be hard, too. But, lucky for us women, we get to not only have the hard job, but the most rewarding one as well.
And that goes for any species! Amphibians, mammals, and even fish reproduce in ways specific to their species, and these are all just as captivating and inspiring as the next.
In the video below, posted online in 2013, we get to see a birth that not many others ever get to see.
As a family walks along the beach, they spot a stingray in the sand. Instead of walking by, they decide to go up to it to try to help her get back into the water. When they get closer, though, they realize that she's actually there to give birth! As she lies there, little strings appear to be coming out of her, though really that's just the start of tiny baby stingrays effortlessly popping right out!
It's not every day that people get to witness stingrays giving birth, and it's definitely a sight to see, don't you think?
