Gertie is not only adorable, but her story is truly touching. As you can see, Gertie has a cleft palate. Not only was she born a little different than the rest, but she was also found in a dumpster at just one-day-old. But don't worry – what was once a tragic beginning has an incredible end. Gertie was quickly adopted after being rescued, and she's been an integral part of a loving home ever since.
One of Gertie's favorite things to do (and one of my favorite things I've EVER seen) is drink water from her pink bowl. She may be doing an ordinary, everyday thing, but to me this is just the cutest, most mesmerizing act of adorableness.
