The Humane Society recently went on a rescue mission into rural Arizona, where they found such a huge case of animal hoarding that most of them simply couldn't believe it. Over 200 animals were saved and brought to local shelters, many of them having gone without food or water for some time.
While I will never understand how anyone could treat animals this way, I am more determined than ever to adopt every animal I ever own, because each adoption is saving an animal from a life you might not even be able to imagine!
