A pug mix puppy named Opie came into his mama’s house with THIS tiny kitten in his mouth. This tiny kitten was estimated to be just two days old, and was discovered in a field behind Opie’s mom’s home. The kitten was covered in maggots.
After a nice bath and a trip to the vet, the kitten seemed to be doing much better. Opie’s mom named him Roscoe!
She built him a cozy nesting box, so he could sleep as he would among the rest of his litter.
At first, Roscoe was so tiny that he had to be fed with a syringe! Kittens should never be moved from their mama this young, but this was a special situation and no one could find this baby’s biological mother.
As she became bigger and stronger, a bottle started being the best way to feed this little kitten.

Of course, Roscoe became part of the fur-family. Just look at these happy cuties!
Pretty soon, Roscoe was just like any other kitten…romping, playing, and getting into mischief.
But her rescuer, Opie, always remained her very best friend.
