Oh my goodness! I've never seen a dog like this one, and I mean that in more ways than one! Kabang the German Shepherd is a true animal hero. At first glance she might shock you, because she is completely missing her snout. It’s quite a startling sight — but once you learn how she risked her life to save two little girls in the Philippines, you will be so amazed by this kindhearted creature. Kabang is credited for saving the lives of two girls in Zamboanga when she jumped in front of a motorcycle, losing her snout in the process.
Here is Kabang reunited with her owner in the Philippines after surgery in the U.S. and returns to life as a normal pet — that is, of course, after she's greeted with a motorcade with yellow balloons welcoming this hero dog home from surgical treatment 🙂
