Sheridan is battling bone cancer, and while the disease is often difficult to treat, his owners are doing everything they can to keep him happy and healthy for as long as possible.
When it became clear that the cancer was spreading, Sheridan's owners decided the best thing to do to prolong his time would be to remove one of his front legs. While the surgery wouldn't cure Sheridan, it would give him maybe a year more of life.
In this amazing video, Sheridan not only comes through the surgery with flying colors, he is just as happy and as energetic afterwards as he was before, which makes it seem like all the expense and healing was worth it.
