Xavier Hernandez, his sister Tiffany, and his mom Leticia were all excited that their beloved dog Twinkle was going to give birth to a litter of puppies.
The pregnant dog was awaiting the arrival of three little puppies she would soon call her own.
Unfortunately, the special day the Hernandez family was waiting for didn't turn out to be as joyful as they'd hoped. Poor Twinkle lost all three of her babies and began to feel depressed and uneasy.
Luckily, her family had her back. Leticia knew that Twinkle needed a little something to help her through the grieving process: stuffed animals.
While coping with the loss, Twinkle was introduced to three stuffed animals that would soon create a big change in her life. The tiny stuffed animals actually shifted the mama dog out of her depression and gave her all the comfort she needed.

This is Twinkle. She lives at home with the Hernandez family in Whittier, California.
After Twinkle lost her three puppies, she was crushed. Luckily, after naming and burying the babies, the Hernandez family knew how to help their grieving dog through her tough time.
Xavier explains: "My mom thought it would comfort her, seeing her how sad she looked trying to look for her dead puppies and not finding them. My mom had a small little stuffed animal and I just wondered if it would help with her pain. At first she gave her one and saw her reaction and it made her happy, comparing how depressed she looked. So, she decided to buy her two more because she had lost all three puppies."
He added: "She was so happy when she showed them to her. She didn't do anything without them, and wouldn't let anyone touch them."
The stuffed animals instantly changed little Twinkle's mood and brought her the joy she had been missing for a while.
After posting Twinkle's story on Twitter, Xavier says that he received tons of support from people everywhere. He wants everyone to know that Twinkle is feeling better now.
