There are a lot of perks to dog ownership. They’re cute, funny, loyal, and are pretty much the physical embodiments of pure love wrapped up in a big, cozy coat of fuzzy fur.
Yet, they’re also a big responsibility. You need to feed and groom them; make time to walk, play, and train them; and vet bills are not fun. But if you love your pup, it’s all totally worth it.
Yet, not everyone feels that way. Thousands of dogs are abandoned each year in the U.S. alone. In fact, according to ASPCA, approximately 7.6 million companion animals enter animal shelters nationwide every year, and the most common reason why people relinquish their dog is because they find them burdensome.
Well, some dog owners have had enough of this brand of foolishness. They have gone online and posted their thoughts on the situation, quite eloquently and passionately, inspiring some to take responsibility for their pets and others to adopt rescue dogs.
This woman is one of these fine folks. She found two abandoned dogs and took it upon herself to reunite them with their owner — with no avail.
So, she went online and gave them a piece of her mind…
