Radio host Adam Montiel couldn't understand why food kept disappearing from his fridge, so he set up a hidden camera in the kitchen to bust the perpetrator. He rigged a video camera to a kitchen cabinet and left the house.
Then, one afternoon, he made the shocking discovery. In the footage, his 12-year-old Yellow Labrador, Allie, knocks over the trash can before using her paws to open the fridge. The dog removes food and strews the items all over the kitchen.
The mischievous pup continues to ransack the kitchen until her owner walks in. Montiel's reaction to the scene is a stunned, "Oh."
Although the dog usually is well behaved, Allie's owner believes this recent behavior happened because his girlfriend recently taught the Lab to open a drawer containing doggie toys.
"My girlfriend taught Allie to open a drawer where Allie's toys were. We didn't even think that the freezer itself is a big giant drawer. But how she opened the doors with her mouth, and at the hinges, was incredible to us. Yes, we feed her, she is a very smart and loving soul, and we love her more than anything," Montiel wrote on YouTube.
