I absolutely love this video. Watch as a couple of sweet, funny boxers meet their newborn baby sister for the very first time. Macey is five years old and Vanda is one.
Mark and his wife didn't take the meeting lightly. They had everything planned out and prepared before the big introduction. Dad begins by letting each dog smell the baby's blanket. Then, he takes each dog into the room, separately, where Mom is sitting with the tiny newborn. It's incredible to watch the process of these great dogs react to their new sister. They're curious and bewildered — but above all, they're gentle. Finally, when the two dogs come together to both meet with the baby, I couldn't help but let out an "Awww!" as I marveled at this wonderful new family.
Some people may say it's dangerous to bring a baby into a home with two big dogs, but as we've seen many, many times before, boxers are a wonderful breed. These dogs make for loving, protective family members — and it seems this baby girl is going to be taken care of just fine! Kids are lucky to grow up with dogs around them.
