Candice was delivered devastating news while trying to have a baby.
Doctors diagnosed the 36-year-old from Georgia with endometriosis, a condition that causes fertility issues, along with a cyst around her fallopian tube. Luckily, she was treated for the ailments, and soon enough, had a wonderful surprise to share with her family and friends. Her mom Karen, in particular, was to receive a very special surprise, one involving bouquets of flowers — 33 of them, to be exact!
Karen lives in California, so Candice flew from coast to coast for the big reveal.
In the video below, Karen is at work in her office when her niece (Candice's cousin) Sarah hands her a bouquet of flowers while filming her.
"My gosh, Sarah, what in the world is going on?" Karen asks.
But that's not the last of it.
Karen, obviously stunned and puzzled, watches as men begin flooding into her office, each one of them holding a different bouquet of flowers.
The mom keeps looking to Sarah and the camera, but Sarah is sure to keep the big surprise under wraps.
Eventually, her office is littered with flowers and balloons, but the surprise is still missing its cherry on top.
After all 33 bouquets are delivered, in walks Candice, holding her own bouquet, along with a balloon that reads "We're having a baby!"
Of course, for a mom to be a grandma is news enough, but her overwhelmed reaction is definitely due in part to her thinking that, because of her daughter's condition, she wouldn't be able to get pregnant at all!
Thankfully, she was. Oh, and the 33 bouquets? Those are to signify that Candice has 33 weeks left in her pregnancy!
