What an amazing rescue. This happened on Black Sturgeon Lake in Kenora Ontario, Canada.
Two friendly Canadian folks caught sight of the deer, and realized that the stranded and shocked animal had a good chance of breaking through the melting ice and perishing if they didn't take action. Using only a makeshift device fashioned with their backpacks and some rope, these brave guys saved this majestic deer from certain death.
