Alec Beck and Amelia Brodka are professional skateboarders who attended the Vans Pool Party at the Vans Skate Park in New Delhi, California.
Alec and Amelia just so happen to be boyfriend and girlfriend as well.
Coincidently, the Vans Skate Park — a place many professionals compete and interact — is where Amelia and Alec met each other for the first time.
In the video below, Alec was about to perform a trick on the Combi Bowl (the large pit seen in the video) when he suddenly looked at Amelia.
She was on the other side of the Bowl, awaiting him.
Alec then pointed up at the screen, which flashed white, and then the image of a heart appeared with the words "AB2" inside.
"AB2," or "AB-Squared" stands for the initials of the couple.
Alec then did his trick: he launched himself into the Bowl, out and into the air, and then slid to a landing on his knees!
Luckily he was wearing knee pads!
But his trick was a complete success, as he skidded to a halt right in front of Amelia.
The skateboarder then took her hands and surprised her with a totally unexpected proposal!
Although it was obviously a creative proposal that took a lot of thought, it is Amelia's reaction that really stole the show — you won't want to miss it!
