Acrobat Balances And Spins Herself Around On A Man’s Head In This 1965 Routine

Acrobats are the definition of real-life superheroes. With the strength and courage it takes to balance your entire body on someone else’s skull, this video proves that acrobats are endowed with a set of skills that the rest of us simply do not have.

For proof, look no further than the Carmenas. They're superheroes, and I’m not sure you’d disagree with me after watching the amazing clip below.

Just look at the control he has in his upper body when she balances her entire weight on top of him. It’s amazing!

This 1965 performance is filled to the brim with impressive moves. Most of them include the female acrobat balancing her entire weight on her skull, conjoined with her partner's. I’m not sure how they do it, but they do it exceptionally well.

Their astounding routine is definitely reminiscent of the Berosini family’s acrobatic performance on a teeterboard that took place in 1964. Both routines were equally daring and jaw-dropping to watch through a screen.

It’s always inspiring to see impressive acts like these. You can tell with the amount of effort put into this performance that the time and dedication spent rehearsing must have been quite a lot.

I could only imagine how thrilling it would have been to have seen these acts performed live, in person. I know I wouldn’t been able to sit still, let alone stop sweating from all my nerves in just watching them.
