Drone Video Captures Rare Albino Reindeer Prancing Around In Norway

A drone video captured a very rare sight in Norway: an albino reindeer frolicking around in a breathtaking open field.

The reindeer, whose entire body is white right along with his antlers, simply runs around during a midnight sun (or a time when the sun is visible at midnight). This happens in the Arctic or Antarctic Circle during the summer.

Seeing a reindeer with a coat like this one is certainly not common. I know all the ones I've seen (and probably you, too) have a brownish color to them. In fact, the chance of one of these albino reindeers being born? About one in 30,000, according to the Weather Channel.

That's probably why the rare reindeer sighting is causing quite a stir on the internet. Much like the albino sea turtle that hatched on a beach in Australia and the albino baby elephant seen in Africa, this video is going viral. (It also helps that the reindeer wanders about on his own in a landscape that's just as beautiful as him!)

Just watch the clip for yourself below, and let us know if you've ever seen a white albino reindeer in the flesh.

And please make sure to SHARE if you're taken aback by this lovely reindeer!
