Alexis Ohanian is the founder of social media website Reddit. Serena Williams is an internationally acclaimed tennis superstar. It was unlikely for the two to cross paths, but in the crazy world of celebrity, they did. Their love story even has some international flair to it. They met in Rome in May 2015 and had their first date in France that June. They didn't go public with their relationship until the summer of 2016. Since then, they've proven to be one of the sweetest couples out there.
This past year, in particular, has been a wild one for the couple. On September 1, 2017, the couple welcomed a baby girl, Alexis Olympia Ohanian Jr. Serena would later reveal that the pregnancy was a complicated one and that she nearly died during her delivery. In November 2017, the couple tied the knot in a fairy-tale wedding.
Serena made her return to tennis this May. She's acknowledged her struggles while making progress. This July, Serena lost during the women's finals at Wimbledon. While her match at Wimbledon didn't go as well as she'd hoped, her hubby had her back.

Wimbledon didn't go as well as she hoped.
Everyone was excited to see what Serena could do at Wimbledon this year. She made it to the finals, but she didn't take home the trophy.
Although Serena lost, you wouldn't know it; both her vigor on the court and her graciousness off the court were qualities of a winner.
“I took a giant step at Wimbledon. But my journey has just begun,” Serena said. Serena's ability to stay optimistic about her career in the face of great skepticism and a few crushing defeats is inspirational.
Serena took to Instagram after the competition to acknowledge the next step in her journey: training for the US Open.
Her husband, Alexis, was certainly inspired.
Alexis took to Instagram to express how proud he was of Serena's accomplishments.
"Days after our baby girl was born, I kissed my wife goodbye before surgery and neither of us knew if she would be coming back," he wrote.
"We just wanted her to survive — 10 months later, she's in the #Wimbledon final."
After congratulating Angelique Kerber on her victory, Alexis continued, "@serenawilliams will be holding a trophy again soon — she's got the greatest one waiting at home for her. Our family knows she'll win many more trophies, too."
We're confident that Serena has more in store for us and that her determination and sweet hubby's support will keep her going.
