All-Male A Cappella Group Stuns With Cover Of Hit Song

With a cappella music gaining popularity, Shy of a Dozen is another group that's adding its own twist to some popular tunes.

The all-male group, part of Iowa State University, appeared on Iowa's KCCI to perform a special rendition of Imagine Dragons' 2012 hit "Radioactive." They also added a little surprise at the 2:12 mark.

The group members wore matching outfits  a white shirt with a grey blazer and jeans  and meshed perfectly together, much like the a cappella group from Elon University in Elon, NC. And just wait til you hear their harmonies throughout the performance!

Shy of a Dozen has performed many other covers, including Fountains of Wayne's "Stacy's Mom" and "Can't Help Falling in Love" by Elvis Presley. The members have also covered some Disney hits, such as "Kiss the Girl" from The Little Mermaid.

"Our repertoire consists of a wide variety of popular music, some written for a cappella groups and some our own arrangements of songs with traditional instrumentation. The members of Shy of a Dozen are students at ISU, about half music majors, the other half representing a wide variety of programs of study," the group explains on its website.
