When park rangers at Nehalem Bay State Park in Oregon received a call about a small Fur Seal that got it's head and neck stuck in a fishing line they knew they had to act fast.
The rangers called the Oregon Marine Mammal Stranding Network who rushed to the beaches, located about 86 miles west of Portland, to see if they can save the little buddy.
Using extreme caution to not hurt the seal or themselves, the seal's guardian angels carried him back to the shore to cut the line and set the him free. Obviously the seal is petrified but watching this rescue go down is absolutely amazing. The seal was quickly released and, as you can see, when back to the ocean.
It's wonderful to witness that there are still caring people in this world.
