This is an incredible story, perfect for Memorial Day! An American soldier deployed in Iraq noticed a stray dog beginning to follow him around. One day, the dog started acting strange, barking and snarling at a man who aggressively came up to the soldier – and for good reason. Turns out, the man had a concealed weapon, and the dog saved the soldier by alerting him to the suspicious man!
The soldier knew the dog was his soul mate, and had his wife arrange to ship the dog all the way from Iraq and back to their home in Indio, California, where he'd be waiting for his new dad upon returning to the states.
