When two incredible musical talents join forces, the result will almost certainly always be outright awe-inspiring. The amazing performance below is gorgeous proof of just that.
On May 23, 2008, music legend and renowned songwriter and producer David Foster provided accompaniment for a jaw-dropping duet of Andrea Bocelli and Katharine McPhee singing "The Prayer." The pair's harmonies are so beautifully in synch that the chords they produce sound almost as though they're coming from a single person.
Not only has this always been a truly magical song, but the dual performance is equally fantastic! When the song comes to a finish, it should come as no surprise to hear the audience's reaction as they erupt in applause. And it should also come as no surprise that this incredibly beautiful video has accrued more than two million views.
The last time that I was this impressed by a performance was when I heard David Foster accompanying a young singer named Charice, who blew away everyone in the room when she belted out Celine Dion's "All By Myself."
