This Tiny House Looks Like A Barrel, And The Inside Is Incredible!

Barrels are traditionally known for transforming grapes into wine, but this one has converted me into a diehard tiny house fan.

In the pantheon of petite houses that range from rustic A-line cabins to cute, coastal getaways, I’ve always had a soft spot for the quirky varieties that may not fit into the norms of traditional architecture, but have the magical ability to make you feel like you’ve transported somewhere beyond your wildest dreams.

I mean, really, who wouldn’t love to spend a night in a tiny house that’s shaped as something as absurd as a seashell? Even if it’s not your cup of clam chowder, it’s still an experience not many have had.

This barrel tiny house is another oddball gem. And although at first glance you may feel like part of a sour mash slowly fermenting into bourbon once you step inside, the effect is anything but. It has actually been dubbed a “glamping” (the combination of glamour and camping) destination that offers all the comforts of home in a lovely pastoral area. Believe me, one peek inside and you’ll be sold on this eccentric little barrel abode…

This cylindrical sensation is named “Caban Crwn.” It is located in Wales and the word crwn means round in Welsh.

Though it looks tiny, it packs a surprising amount into its curved walls.

As you enter, its sunny lounge area complete with a small daybed immediately delights you.

The decor is as colorful and as bright as the light provided by the big windows, which you can swing open to let fresh mountain air flow in.

Personally, I’d love to eat a meal I made with love while gazing at this gorgeous view.

The loft bedroom is cozy yet comfy and not far from the compact compost “loo” with a shower unit.

Outside you can light up a fire pit or sit on the deck after a day of biking across a beautiful valley. Truly, it’s the perfect “glamping” getaway.
