Baby animals are always cute, no matter what species they are. Some different animals look strikingly similar when they are just born and when they're young, before their features really develop.
Some dog breeds happen to look confusingly similar to little bear cubs. They've often been mistaken for one another, and bear cubs have even shown up in shelters before. The same goes for fox kits.
These puppies that look like bear cubs are all so cute that it's hard not to scoop them up and love them right away. You've got to do a double take each time, though, because there's a possibility they could be bear cubs, and you don't want to disturb a wild animal! You have to ask yourself, bear cub or pup?

This corgi / Newfoundland mix is all anyone could ever ask for in life.
When you ask for a puppy and get a bear cub instead:
Surely this is a bear that belongs on a glacier.
I don't even care if this is a puppy or a polar bear.
We'll just have to wait and see which this one grows up to be.
An Akita, to further perpetuate the confusion.
I've done extensive research on this one, and I'm still only 80% sure this is a pooch.
This one? I'd be totally stumped if I wasn't told he was a pup!
