When this video began, we meet a pet parent who tells us that her dog has her own room, and she wants to show us around. Sounds cute enough, right? Well, it's a little deeper than that. At the top of the stairs and ready to give you a grand tour of said bedroom, you're about to meet Biscuit — a 10-year-old mutt that has epilepsy and other illnesses as a result of her necessary medications. However, once you see how this pampered pooch was treated until the day she died, your heart will fill with joy.
Biscuit was rescued from the pound as a puppy, and soon she was treated like a queen. As you can see, Biscuit, now a senior dog with health conditions, has her own bed, windows to bird-watch and even her own closet full of cozy winter sweaters.
Sadly, Biscuit passed away in the summer of 2012, just before this video was filmed. Her Mom says,"We adored her and she made our lives wonderful for almost 10 years. She is always with me though, in my heart. I miss her every day and will always feel that pain, but it lessens with time."
If only all rescue dogs were this loved. I'm so glad Biscuit got to live her days out in such comfort!
P.S. Oh, and don't feel bad for Barney, the little white dog that makes an appearance — he has a bed next to Mom in the master bedroom, three floors to play on, a million toys, a dog door out to the deck and he goes to the dog park every weekend 🙂
