Mom Gives Up On Finding Poodle That’s Been Lost For 2 Years, Has No Clue Dog Is In Another State

Claudia Navarrete used to live in Victorville, California, with her 15-year-old son Jesse Briones and their beloved poodle-mix, named Bella.

But that was two years ago. Today, Claudia lives with Jesse, and her youngest son, Isaiah.

And what happened to Bella?

Sadly, Bella ran away, and no matter how hard they looked, they never found her again.

"I actually just threw her tags away like two weeks ago," Claudia said in the video below.

After two years of Bella being gone with no sign of returning, the family had lost hope.

Little did they know, Bella had somehow landed in another state.

Bella was found this past Tuesday, May 2, in the Cheyenne West Animal Hospital in Las Vegas.

"It's just a miraculous story in our eyes," said Carolyn Lawrence, the administrator at the hospital.

They were able to use the microchip implanted in Bella to track the Navarretes down.

Microchips, according to Carolyn, are only effective if they are registered and if owners keep their contact information updated.

Luckily, Bella's chip was up-to-date, and they were able to contact Claudia and let her know that their beloved dog had been found!

In the video below, a reunion two years in the making was caught on camera — and just wait until you see Bella's reaction!
