Recently, a small robin crashed into a window at full speed, knocking her unconscious in front of a group of passers-by. The poor, tiny bird immediately falls lifeless on the floor, unable to move or flap or her wings. It's unclear if she's even breathing — but as you're about to see, her heroic feathered friend refuses to leave her side. Persistent and determined, the other bird enters a state of panic in an effort to bring his companion back to life. We've seen many cases of humans stepping in to save birds, but it's extremely rare to witness birds saving the lives of their own species. This video, posted to YouTube by user "Awad Zidane" is simply jaw-dropping, and lucky for us, it was all caught on camera.
