Incredible Birth Photo Captures Just How Dedicated Teachers Truly Are

Everyone works hard at their jobs, but many often feel like they don't get recognized for the work they do.

One such example? Teachers.

Teachers do some of the hardest work in the world, but they rarely get the thanks they deserve.

Luckily, there's a photo going viral on the internet that shows just how much work teachers put into their jobs — even when they aren't at school.

On April 23, 2017, Jennifer and Andrew Pope welcomed their new daughter, Clara.

They were excited to have their birth experience photographed, so they hired Andrea McDonald of Rooted In Love Photography to capture the special moment.

While Jennifer was in labor, she had some moments of calm between contractions and decided it would be a good time to get some work done — so she pulled out her school lesson plans.

As soon as she saw what was happening, Andrea picked up her camera.

When Jennifer Pope went into labor with her baby girl, Clara, one of the first people she called was her photographer, Andrea.

She wanted this special moment captured on camera, but when her labor was slow, she pulled out her teaching lesson plans.

Andrea took a photo, and when she posted it online, it immediately went viral, with over 21,000 reactions and 7,200 shares.

No, she is not doing her taxes.

Those papers would be her lesson plans her husband is about to go drop off with her sub in the parking lot.

Also, next week is Teacher Appreciation Week here in Texas.

Spoil them rotten because even in labor, they care.

No lie, she gave birth less than an hour later.

This post is about showing the dedication of a teacher (I was one myself for many years).

Seriously, be kind or scroll down.

Andrea captured other special moments during Jennifer's labor and birth, including this beautiful first look.

This photo was taken at the moment Jennifer saw Clara for the first time, and her face truly says it all.

Andrew announced the birth of his daughter on Facebook, writing, "Baby girl arrived at 9:08 p.m. 7 pounds, 10 ounces. #ClaraLouisePope."

These parents couldn't be happier — and I'm sure it was a relief for Jennifer to finish her work for the sub before the baby arrived!

What a sweet little girl Clara is — she definitely has hardworking, dedicated parents to look up to.
