Little kids have a lot of weird and sometimes funny superstitions. Some of these things, like being good all year long so that Santa leaves you a gift instead of coal in your stocking, are things that us adults drill into their heads in order to keep them on their best behavior.
Some of the other things they decide to believe…well, we just have no idea where they come from!
Take the little girl whose mother asked her to explain cotton candy, for example. She believes that just because the word cotton is in the name, the food MUST be made of cotton…and she is insistent about it!
Or what about the two brothers who got themselves into a huge mess with paint and thought that if they just stayed silent long enough and looked innocent, no one would ever find out?
The little birthday girl in this video thinks that if someone sings the full birthday song before she has a chance to blow out her candles, that she won't be able to make a birthday wish. So of course, her Uncle taunts her to get this adorable reaction out of her.
Eventually, she gets her cake and a birthday song re-do, and we bet her wish came true!
